Severe Bleeding After Taking Mistoprol. Headache, Swollen Breasts, Bloating. Pregnant?

Hi,

Had 4 mistoprol tablets over a week ago and passed huge clots and bleeding ebbed and came to a stop just 14 hours after.
However since then have the following symptons severe stabbing pain headache exhaustion , swollen breasts ,sickness and bloated tummy... I still fell pregnant. I have just tested positive. What should I do?

Hello,

Following taking abortion pill (4 misoprostol tabs), it is quite common to get heavy bleeding with clots till abortion procedure completely resolves. It may take time up to 7 days for complete abortion.

After medical abortion, beta-HCG level is cleared out from blood within 1-4 weeks. Here you need to undergo one ultrasound scan to check retained bits if any and proceed to D & C after consultation with gynecologist.

Take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, avoid mental stress and take adequate rest. Be well.
