Severe And Sudden Dizziness, Off Balance, Basilar Skull Fracture. Done Blood Test. Is It Viral Infection?

Hi I experienced severe dizziness sudden dizziness at work yesterday with the feeling of falling over and off balance but that was the only symptom present. I went to the ER and had a full set of test , blood , heart enzymes , cat Scan the whole nine yards and basically they couldn't tell me what caused it . They said all my test looked great . I am a 32 year male with pretty good health . My history include basilar skull fracture roughly 19 years ago . I have Afib and recently had an ablation 5 months ago and I'm on blood thinners and meds for heart rate and rhythm . My blood pressure is perfect normally 110/ 70. I recently went to nerololist yesterday and he seemed satisfied with his examine and mentioned something about a possible viral infection causing dizziness but I really don't buy it - any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated - thanks for you time

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Every thing is normal ,in spite of this dizziness is there.
You mentioned two things in your query that you are taking blood thinners and medicines for A fibrillation.
Statine are blood thinners and NOTE DOWN their side effects as ,
vertigo,
nausea,
tremors,
anxiety,
abdominal pain,
anorexia,
dizziness.
The reason of your dizziness is there.
Consult your treating doctor and get in treatment accordingly.
Hope you have found your answer.
If further any question I will help.
GOOD LUCK
Dr. HET
