Risk Of Getting AIDS After Vaginal Intercourse?

Hi doctor,
I had a vaginal intercourse with a girl that I am not sure she has HIV or not 2 months ago. It started with rubbing penis on underpants and then a 30 seconds half penetration. I was just excited to know how it feels. She says she is clean but I am panicking now. What is the risk that I got aids?

Hello.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

HIV is transmitted by all forms of unprotected sex anal, vaginal and oral. Transmission of HIV virus from one individual to other individual is possible through sexual contact, because the vaginal secretion, blood and anal secretions will have HIV virus.

As you involved in vaginal sex for 30 sec, chance of getting HIV infection will be there.

I would suggest you to undergo HIV testing like CMIA, this will test for P24 antigen of HIV and antibody to HIV 1/2.You can test by P24 antigen ELISA and antibody ELISA.

Thank you.
