Regular Periods, Delayed. Pregnant?

i am a women aged 28. My period cycle was regularly of 11 or 12 th of each month. However, the same has been delayed by 3 days this time.

Once few days back while i was about to get indulged in intercourse my husbands condom bursted before penetration. However, he did ejeculated at that time and his sperm was spilt on my vagina a bit. So to avoid pregnanacy, i immediately washed of my vagina as well as its near by areas.

Can this be one of the reason for delay.

Will i be pregnant due to such incident.

Hello
thanks for your query.
Without actual vaginal penetration, or deposition of sperm inside the vaginal canal, chances of pregnancy are very less.
however, as your periods have been delayed, please take a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy or related complications like ectopic pregnancy etc.
Other than pregnancy, periods can be delayed due to stress, anxiety, weight gain, hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries etc.
please consult a gynecologist to rule out these conditions.
all the best.
