Reduced Appetite, Bloating, Pain In Abdomen, Mild Fever, Orange Smelly Bowels, Constant Passing Of Gas. Remedy?

Hi, my fiance has been suffering from bloatedness & abdo pain for a few days, he also has a bit of a temperature. He has very little appetite, because when he eats, he gets the cramps. He has opened his bowels and it is orange in colour & very smelly (so is the constant gas he is passing). Apart from him feeling poorly, the smell in the house is unbearable! Can you suggest what may be causing his unpleasant pain.

Hi there. There are quite a number of possibilities here. Here are a few in the order of their likeliness:
(1) Something he ate -- mild gastroenteritis or food poisoning.
(2) A reaction to a medication.
(3) Diverticulitis.
(4) Appendicitis, Irritable bowel, Chron's Disease. Ulcerative Colitis. Bowel obstruction. Gall bladder disease, pancreatic infection and so on.

If its number (1) above then he should be getting better in the next day or so. If he does not start getting better soon then it may be time to see a doctor. Good luck
