Redness, Swollen Breasts, Burning And Arm Weakness, Prescribed Triamcinolone, Nystatin. Right Diagnosis ?

Hello. I presented to my doctor with classic symptoms of Inflammatory Breast Cancer: redness, warm, orange peel skin, swolllen breast and chest tissues, aching in my breast, chest, ribs, collar bone, shoulder and arm. Significant burning and arm weakness. No nipple discharge. I have had a mammogram, ultrasound, CT scan with dye, and blood work, all says no cancer. I have taken 2 courses of different antibiotic to no relief, and no am being prescribed triamcinolone cream and nystatin cream. There has been no diagnosis and the doctors are stumped. What else could it be if not IBC? Thank you.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

If non-invasive tests were conducted they would have found any growth/tumor/cancer or other tissue abnormality in the breast tissue. As these have not reported the presence of any such abnormalities may be a few basic blood investigations woukd help provide a more clear picture (eg. Hormonal levels).

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
