Redness On Face, High BP, Enlarged Heart. Taking Lercanil. Worry?
My mother (70years old) started taking Lercanil 5 days ago and she experiencing redness on her face and her eyes are red too. She has high blood pressure for the past 20 years and enlarged heart.
My mother is in Croatia and I am in New Zealand, so I cannot see her, but just spoke to her on the phone and that is what she told me which worry's me.

Lercanil (lercanidipin) is calcium blockers and as all ca-blockers has some side efects, such as redness on face, leg edema ect. If the thing bother your mother she should talk with her doctor and change to another medication.
