Hi..
thanks for the query..
First get an ocular examination done to rule out any refractive error..(sight)..
If there is a refractive error you need to use glasses..
You have to take food rich in Vit A which is good for eyes like papaya, carrots, egg milk, fresh fruits and vegetables..
Apart from that when you work with computers you have blink your eyes voluntarily to prevent dryness of eyes..
You have to take breaks in between to avoid excess strain..
Keep a distance of half a meter between your eyes and computer monitor..
You can use some lubricating eye drops if required and anti glare glasses also..
Hope this information helps.. Take care..

Hello,
Since you are spending long hours working on the computer and complain of redness of eyes, it can be because of computer vision syndrome.
You need to follow instructions like
Avoid using computer for long hours in a stretch
Take break at regular intervals by closing your eyes once in every half an hour for 1 minute
Wash your eyes with water normally.
Wear spectacles with uv coating

If the symptoms persist do consult your eye doctor for using artificial tear eye drops suppliments.

Regarding diet Vitamin A is a essential nutrient for healthy eyes, hence use those which are rich in Vitamin A like Green leafy vegetables...

Thank you
