I have been having red, swollen, burning, cracking and oozing skin around my eyes. Also, red flaky patches in my temple area. A Dr. put me on prednisone for 9 days (3/3 days, 2/3 days, 1/3 days) which helped at first, but as the dose decreased to 1 and now done, the condition has come back. I suspect a nutritional issue but cannot think of anything new in my system for the last year. I avoid, but haven't completely eliminated dairy, wheat and sugar already. I can't think of anything new being put on my skin in the last year either. I have had psoriasis (mostly ears and elbows) for a number of years, but I have not had issues like this before.
