Recurring Bump On The Nose. Fibrous Corpusal Diagnosed. Cartilage In Nose Growing. Any Treatment?

I have a small reoccurring bump on my nose . It isn t a pimple , I have had it for 8 years. Every few months it bursts, bleeds quite a bit then starts the cycle all over. I had it looked at initially and the doctor called it a fibrous corpusal. He said the cartilage in my nose was growing outwards on the bridge causing this anomaly. Any treatment?
