Recurrent Fungal Infection On Penis. Daktarin, Brentacort Applied But Skin Becoming Fragile And No Relief. Suggestions?

47yo male. I had what i though was e reoccurance of fungal infection on penis so used Daktarin cream for about 2 weeks but penis head became lined and pitted, also foreskin became thin/fragile so i stopped. About 10 days later i tried another cream that had worked for me before called Brentacort but after 5 days it was clearly not doing me any good as i now have open weeping sores under my foreskin. Dont know what to do for the best now. Been keeping foreskin back to allow air to circ and keeping dry with talc powder but not getting anywhere.

Hello,
The skin of head of penis is getting fragile and thin because you are using a anti fungal cream which has steroid in it.There may be additional bacterial infection since you are complaint of weeping sores.
Treatment involves application plain anti fungal cream like CLOTRIMAZOLE and a plain antibiotic cream like NEOSPORIN..
You may also need oral antibiotics and oral antigungal for few days.
Please consult your doctor for prescription of oral antibiotics and oral antifungal
Tablets.
Thanks
