Hello
Thanks for your query.
In all probability the pain may be due to gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) for which you need to take pantoprazole tablet twice daily before food along with life style modification like avoidance of fatty, spicy and fast food, small but frequent bland diet, daily water intake 3-4 litre per day and head end elevation during sleep with a healthy bowel habit. Initially you will adhere to this protocol for 7 days. If improvement is there you have to continue it for at least 6 weeks.
Thank you.
Regards
Dr Arnab Maji
