Reason For Shortness Of Breath Despite Using Advair And Prednisone?

I have shortness of breath. I was diagnosed with COPD and ended up in Hospital on Friday 2/14/14. I was released on Saturday 2/15/14. X-Rays were taken and nothing was found. Using Nebulizer did not help. Had high ratio of Oxegen. Now at home and have had labored breathing since I got out of the Hospital. Prescribed Advair, Prednesone Still using Nebulizer, no relief; any thoughts on what is happening?

Your COPD exacerbation is still persisting. You may have to take regular nebulizatio. Prednisolone dose may have to be increased for which you may consult your pulmonologist or GP. A course of antibiotics may help and inhaler medicines like foracort/seroflo should be added.
