Reason For Menstrual Bleeding After Menopause?

hi,
I am 53 years old and am post menopausal. I had a period a couple of weeks ago, 14 months after my last one. I had a transvaginal ultrasound performed this week which has discovered that my endometrium is 0.54cms thick. Everything else is fine. I have been having ultrasound fat cavitation treatments for a couple of months now. Could that have altered my hormone levels to produce a period? Should I be concerned? My doctor has recommended I see a gynaecologist for further investigation. Would love some feedback on possible causes.

YOU NEED EVALUATION FOR POST MENOPAUSAL BLEEDING.

DILATION AND CURRETAGE OF YOUR ENDOMETRIUM WILL BE NEEDED HERE TO KNOW THE CAUSE FOR BLEEDING.

ENDOMETRITIS IS COMMON REASON FOR POSTMENOPAUSAL BLEEDING.

CONSULT YOUR GYNAECOLOGIST FOR EXAMINATION.
