Hi there,

Thanks for your query.

The symptoms are suggestive of either
* an acute stress, which cause contraction of scalp, neck and facial muscles and thereby causing discomfort; or,

* An upper spinal problem, compressing the upper spine- a condition called Cervicalgia. A short course of anti-inflammatory drug, such as, ibuprofen will give substantial relief.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.

Take care
