General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Hand numbness is usually caused by damage, irritation or compression of one of the nerves or a branch of one of the nerves in your arm and wrist.
I suggest to do an xray of the hand.
I also recommend to do a complete blood count and a glycemic level to exclude diabetes which affects the peripheral nerves.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
