Pus Cells Found In Sperm Report. Taking Medication. How Can We Reduce Them?
Hello doctor, My husband is 27 yrs. old. He has too many pus cells in his sperm report. H e is taking medicines from last 8 months but no result found. His Non-Motile-30%, Pus cells-7-8/HPF. So, I want to know that how to reduce it as soon as possible. Please tell me what we can do in it. What should he take perfect diet.
It appears as though the infection in your husbands semen analysis is the main problem here. Fertility will be temporarily affected until this infection is brought under control.
I advice you to get a culture and sensitivity investigation done, in order to find the infection-causing organism and the most suitable medication that can be used to treat the infection.
Although the complete semen analysis would have greatly helped in confirming the fertility status, a testicular biopsy can also be considered later in the course, if the current advice does not help in treating the problem.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
