Is Anafranil Effective For Low Sperm Count?

Hi am 28 years old am trying to get my girlfriend pregnant for tree years now and still cannot I go to do a sperm count test and the test come back saying my sperm count is 1%, my doctor gave me this medication Anafranil 25 clomipramin. Hydrochl, is that medication good for low sperm count?

Anafranil contains clomipramine. It is a tricyclic antidepressants which is used to treat obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). It helps decrease persistent/unwanted thoughts (obsessions), and it helps reduce the urge to perform repeated tasks that interfere with daily living.
It is not the drug used to treat low sperm count.
Since you have not given your detailed semen analysis report, it is difficult to advise proper medication for the low sperm count what you could be having.
Kindly consult Andrologist in this regard with the semen analysis report to get proper advise and treatment.
