Puffed Up Itchy Spots On Scalp, Headaches, Swelling. Taken Benadryl. On Triple Antibiotic Ointment. Are They Ringworms?

I have had two or three puffy itchy spots on my scalp. My granddaughter had wring worm last month at my house.
I thought at first they were spider bites but after a week they seemed to get worse so I put anti itch cream on them that just made them sting and then I took Benadryl that seemed to help with the swelling that seemed to be giving me a headache. But the itching spots are still there. I have been putting triple antibiotic ointment on them which seems to be making them feel better. I have got a couple of scabs of of them. Thanks, Diane

Hi,
From history this might be due to fungal infection of scalp.
Apply anti-fungal cream.
Take oral anti-fungal tablet like Flucanozole.
If there is bacterial infection along with fungal, go for antibiotic medicine after consulting your doctor.
Do head wash regularly.
Ok and take care.
