Procedure Done To Correct My T Shaped Uterus. Cannot Have My Periods. What Can Be Done To Have My Periods Earlier?

Hello,

Im having a procedure done to correct my t shaped uterus, and i cannot have my period, but since I'm going to ovulate late it seems that i am going to start my period around the time of the procedure, what can i do to either make my period come early or prolong it so it will come after the procedure.

Thank you

Hi,
If there is no associated problem, you can ask your doctor to prescribe progesterone tablets. To advance the cycle you would need to use them prior to ovulation, as soon after your period ends. To postpone, you would need to use the medication for at least up to 3 days prior to the date you wish to get your cycle postponed. Please keep in mind that using hormones also has side effects, most common being rashes, headaches, vomiting, breast tenderness and breakthrough bleeding if the dosage is insufficient. Hope this helps. Take care.
