Hello. I'm pregnant with our 3rd child and im 22 weeks along today. Three times this morning when ive gone to the washroom, there was been thick slime yellowish colored discharge. And the first morning washroom trip, the discharge was super thick sweet smelling yellowish colored and about half the length of my pinky finger. Im still feeling baby move a this morning. Ive had horrible back pains for tge last 2 weeks too. Shoukd I be concerned? With my other 2 children, I losted my musuc pulg about a week before they were both born and both my child came early. First was born at 34weeks 5days and second was born at 35weeks and 3days
Hi, Thanks for the query. Vaginal discharge usually increases during pregnancy and that is physiological process. But as you are having associated pain abdomen and previous history of preterm labors better to consult gynecologist once and get examined. If there is any chance of premature uterine contractions you can go for preventive measures. Take rest as much as possible, preferably in left lateral position.
