Pregnant, In Third Trimester, Scan Showed Increase In Renal Pelvic Diameter. Serious?

now ihave third trimester in my first scan was fifth month feotus shows renal pelviectasia ap pelvic diameter is 4.8mm. in second scan was in seventh month it shows same pelvic diameter 5.4 was noted is it ok it will effect t baby please tell me is it seviour obnormality or what

hi,
there are many criteria to diagnose pyelectasis and also fetus can show different values at different times like in case full bladder the pelvic diameter will appear more,
this can be associated with anueploidy like down syndrome in some cases but in around 70% of fetuses this will regress,
so follow with regular checkup to watch the change.
