Pregnant. Ultrasound Showed Loop Of Cord Along Two Side Of Fetal Neck. Is This Dangerous?

hi i m so tensed about my baby yesterday i was pick my ultrasound report n see the reports .....the report is showing me this.......35 week baby...third trimaster pregnancy with loop of cord along two side of fetal neck .this may be detangle or may tighten around the neck-need folllow up scan,just before the time of delivery or any intervention. so doctor please tel me wat should i do...?????is this dangerous for baby..?????

Thanks for your query,
I can understand your concern. Actually single loop of cord is quite common and in most cases vaginal delivery remains uneventful provided proper monitoring is done. In case of double loop of cord around neck, risk of tightening is very high in case of vaginal delivery, so CS may be preferred. It may some times resolute itself . You should take proper rest, relaxation and keep a count of baby movements. In case it is less then you should contact your OBG immediately as it may be due to entanglement.
