Pregnant. Took Misprostol, Have Mild Bleeding And Tender Breast. Is Abortion Success?

Hello,am about 4weeks pregnant and i took 3tablest of Misprostol (200mcg each) on Tuesday at 3pm and had a little spot of blood in the evening and didn't bleed again.I got scared on Thursday and took another 3tablets of Misoprostol (200mcg each) at 2pm and i bled a little that evening.The same slight spotting blood continued till Saturday but i feel sick and my breast is still tender.Was the abortion completed?

Hi,
You have not taken a proper dose of the medication. You should not self-medicate yourself for inducing a medical abortion. It looks as though your abortion is incomplete. You should see a gynecologist, get a physical evaluation and a trans-vaginal sonogram to see the location of the pregnancy and the gestational age and under the surveillance of the specialist go for the abortion. Early abortion resembles a normal period and the products are not well visualized. The completion of the abortion should be verified by the doctor and confirmed through a follow-up sonogram.
