Pregnant. Have Dark Red Lump On Vagina. What Is It, Will It Impact On Delivery?
Hello, I am in 32wks pregnancy. I found there is a dark red lump in the openning of my vagina. It is about 3cm diameter large. I never notice since when it was there already. If you touch it, it won't hurt and it is squishy. What is it on earth? how it comes? Will it impact my natural delivery and what i should do to recover? thanks.

1. Cervical polyp- tongue shaped projection
2. Cystocele- protrusion of the urinary bladder
3. Vaginal cyst-usually globular
4. Uterine prolapse- protrusion of the uterus
5. very rarely a tumor
The chances thats its a serious cause is less.
You need a thorough examination by your doctor which will include a speculum examination to look at the vagina & cervix.
Your doctor may also take biopsies if she suspects anything more.
Your doctor may also ask for a scan to get more information about the lump.
In either case, it should not hinder natural delivery if other factors are favourable.
