Pregnancy. Prescribed Gestofit, Vomisafe, Richfol-dha, Totalax. Is There Anything Serious?

Hello Sir, My wife is Pregnant (1 month) and on the first visit Doctor has prescribed Gestofit 300 mg SR (1 tab daily after dinner), Vomisafe (1 tab daily after dinner), RICHFOL- DHA (1 tab daily after lunch), and Totalax Solution (alternate day after dinner). She is taking these medicines for last 3 days. Is there anything serious as the doctor has prescribed these medicines and what can be the side-effects of these medicines?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
I can understand your concern as your wife is pregnant, there is nothing to worry she is given hormone gestofit which is progesterone which help to sustain pregnancy specially if there is any history of miscarriage in past or any thing too suggest threat like bleeding.
Usually early pregnancy is associated with nausea and vomiting so anti emetic is given.
Folic acid is given to prevent any neural tube defects in fetus.
I presume there is nothing serious so do not worry and if there is any doubt please discuss with your treating Gynecologist.
Take care.
Best Of Luck.
