Not required to go on diet. Beastfeeding itself will help reduce weight because sugars, carbohydrate and fat and used. You should eat diet rick in proteins, good amount of sugars and carbohydrates for breast feeding. Eat more sweet fruits like banana, orange, chikoo, rice, pulses, ragi, wheat, eggs, chicken, lean meat, drink milk everyday. This will be good diet for breast feeding. Besides you should should have been weaned by now. Give him similar diet, but more fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables as well. Fish is good for brain and nerve development in baby as well. Drink plenty of water. Do daily brisk walking for 40 minutes a day. get 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Do Yoga, Pranayam to stay stress free.
