Planned To Abort. Prescribed Mtp By Cipla. Taking Mifepristone. Will This Work?
hii im 25/F and confirmed as pregnant after hcg test, i want to get aborted and visited a gynaecologist who prescribed mtp by cipla...will this work..i was asked to take all the doses orally so i stared with the first dose if 1 Tablet Mifepristone 200mg today @ noon.. and from tomorrow and day after 2 doses one in morning and one at night of Misoprostol 200mg.. plz help me out
Hi, You have confirmed your pregnancy by HCG test. I don't know when was your last LMP. Mifepristone is OK, if taken before the 50th day of your LMP. If doubt USG can be taken to confirm pregnancy Certain Points: Mifepristone is contraindicated in, ectopic pregnancy, adrenal failure, hemorrhagic disorders, inherited porphyria, and anticoagulant or long-term corticosteroid therapy. Excessive bleeding and incomplete termination of a pregnancy require further intervention by a doctor. Keep in your mind that "PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE" Best wishes.
