Pimples, Applied Recton, Skin Got Red And Burnt, Burning Sensation While Going In Sun, Patches. Treatment?

i applied recton v ac for pimples for 3 days and my skin became red and burnt i visited skin specialist he prescribed me momesone acnesol gel and emolene cream to mix three of this and apply twice a day for 14 days. i applied this for 3 days and my skin got peeled and it was ok.. but after going in sun my skin had a burning sensation.. now iam applying sandalwood paste with rose water.. but my left cheel is still burning and some patches also developed. kindly suggeste what to do

Hi & thanks for posting on HCM
I understand your symptoms started with acne for which you had recton gel ( retinoic acid) which is known to cause early inflammatory reaction - red & burnt appearance, normally in this cases we advise to stop the gel & apply topical steroids to calm down reaction
Momesone is topical streoid but is potent hence you have to be very cautious when applied on face (I normally would not apply it on face due to petency), Emolene is emollient cream which will help to get skin back to normal but it will take few days to show positive effects.
I suggest you apply topical cream (steroid based like betnovate RD 0.025%) on face very thinly max twice a day to control inflamatory side effects & avoid sun exposure till skin has healed up completely
With regards to acne - I suggest some milder preparations must be used with oral antibiotics low dose for 3-6 months
