Persistent Sore Throat, Inflammation On Uvula After Taken Antibiotics For Throat Infection, Swallowing Difficulty. Ho Can I Relieve It?

Went to Urgent Care last Wednesday because of sore throat and difficulty swallowing . They gave my 5 day course of azithromyacin and told me to rest and take Tylonel for any pain. He also said my uvula was really swollen. I am done with antibiotics and still feel that my uvula is inflammed. Still have a bit of a sore throat too, though it may be in my head now

Hello

well, i would like you to meet your doctor as the organism causing your throat infection may not be completely sensitive to azithromycin and you may need to change your antibiotics .Meanwhile you can gargle with warm salt water 3-4 times a day , it will reduce the pain and swelling.
Thanks
