Periods Stopped But Still Bleeding After Started Taking Birth Control Pills. Is It Due To Side Effect?

hello
i started to use Crisanta, the birth control medicine like 11 days ago on my first day of menstruate. My menstruate usually comes 4 days, however now im still bleeding a little bit since my menstruate finished. I read that bleeding could be the side effect but im not sure how long does this side effect will last?. Im from different country so i haven't went to the doctors or get any advice. Please give me some advice. I am little bit scared because im having this side effect /bleeding/ for over a week now.

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Following is my reply :

1) The bleeding will slow down to spottinig and stop in 3 to 4 days.

2) If it does not stop you might need to see doctor there and get medicines to stop bleeding.

Let me know if you have any more queries. I will be happy to answer.

Regards,
Dr. Mahesh Koregol
