Partial Hysterectomy Done, Post Menopause, Raped, Punched Inside, Drying Up, Severe Cramping. Treatment?

I am 53,
1 Vaginal Births, Forceps Delivery, at 21years old, at 23 a partial Hysterectomy, post menopause, and raped by x-husband with his fist inside of me punching my insides about 5 years ago and no sex since and yes he is gone. In the last few days I feel very dry as if my insides are drying up, and there is some pain, and something is protruding from my me, I have no insurance at this time, would this be considered an emergency and should I get checked out. The pain is getting worse like real bad cramping, which never really had even when i did have my periods.
Sorry I am on unemployment and can't pay ...so I guess I am going to the hospital an see whats going on

Hello,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

Thanks for your query.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

Now you are suffering from vaginal dryness.
It is a sign of vaginal atrophy ie.. atrophic vaginitis.
It is very common in post menopausal women.

Reduced estrogen levels are the main cause of vaginal dryness.
Estrogen production is reduced as one ages and attained menopause.

Estrogen, a female hormone, helps keep vaginal tissue healthy by maintaining normal vaginal lubrication, tissue elasticity and acidity.

Please follow my advides to treat your vaginal dryness and soreness in vagina.

1. water-soluble lubricants such as Astroglide or K-Y Jelly.
Do not use non water soluble lubricants.
2. You can use Vaginal moisturizers like Replens and Luvena on a more regular basis to maintain moisture in the vagina.
3. If possible consult your gynecologist about vaginal estrogen therapy.

Hope this helps.
Please reply for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

Regards,
Dr.Manjeth kumar.
