Your mother has suffered a major stroke (Paralysis) and presently you are seeing after effects of that in many ways. 1. Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Psychology professionals other than doctors to treat her diabetes would be essential. 2. If you find limited facilities near your present home we would suggest Institute for Neurological Sciences in Guwahati or any large institute in Kolkata.

see ur mother is a diabetic & perhaps hypertensve .....neurological damages are always poor to respond ....all u need is to concentrate on two things esp ....control her diabetes and her blood pressure so that future other attacks dont occur ...consult a good physician regularly & dont change ur doctor frequently
You can contact me at: luxman02@gmail.com with all your details including medicines .your test reports, your other illnesses ,how regular with treatment.

YOU HAVE NOT MENTIONED ANYWHER ABOUT HER BP CHECKED?&MEDICIENCES RIGHT NOW,IT COULD BE DUE TO INVOLVEMENT OF SLIGHT LARGER PART OF CEREBRAL CORTEX ISCHIAMIA(DEATH OF NEURONS) FOLLOWING UNCONTROLLED BLOOD BRESSURE&UNDIAGNOISE IN EARLY IT SEES.SO ELECTRICAL CONNECTION IN THAT PARTICULAR AREA IS SHUT DOWN RT NOW,IT TAKES LONG TIME TO( MANY MONTHS TO YEARS) REESTABLASHMENT OF ELECTRICAL ACTIVETY TO RESTART(SOME TIMES MAY OR MAY NOT),INSPITE OF BEST MEDICINES,rt now CONTROLLING HER BP 100% VL AVOID RESTROKE&CONTROAL DIABETES TOO IS VERY IMP.CONSULT NEUROLOGIST OR NEUROPHYSICAN IN NEAR BY MEDICAL COLLEGE HOSPITAL.OK,GOD BLESS UR MUM,TAKE CARE.
