Painful Lump On Breast, Irregular Periods. Diagnosed As Fibroadenosis. Not Conceived. What Could This Be?

Hello I m 30 years old and have small lump on outer side of my left breast which becomes extremely painful 2 weeks before my period each month. I can feel my lump literally under my skin without even pressing hard deep into tissue .My period is not regular and each month starts from 2-8 days earlier. My GP says I suffer fibroadenosis but I m not convinced. Any suggestions what that could be? Many thanks. Kind regards.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The painful lump in the breast that changes in size and pain with your periods is likely to be a benign lump- fibroadenoa. FNAC will help in confirmation.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
