hello thanks for using hcm
lower anterior teeth are most prone to gingivitis (periodontitis if bleeding gums and bone loss i.e. tooth is mobile too )
the best treatment would be to go for a scaling and curettage ...medicines that will give u relief are
1.levofloxacin 500 mg twice a day for 5 days
2.a simple pain killer twice a day
3.omnacortil 10 mg twice a day for reducing inflammation
4.hexigel to be appllied 3-4 times daily
5.add 5-6 drops of betadine in lukewarm water and rinse before applying hexigel
hope if you follow this ...you will be relieved within 1-2 days

Hello,

Thanks for choosing HCM,

After reading your present situation I feel that you have used raw mouthwash..from now onwards you can mix with normal water in 1:1 ratio.then you will not feel any irritation...

Now don't take any spicy.hot food..

Apply dologel ct for 3-4 times...

If there is any inflammation then scaling is required for you if deposition of calculus is the cause....

If it will not cure then consult with dentist for furthur opinion...

Meanwhile you can do warm saline rinses 3-4 times/day...

Get well soon...

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Burnt tongue as well as gums may be due to adverse reaction of antibiotics or high concentration of mouthrinses applied.

The gums has to be treated by deep scaling or root planning.

Apply dologel on the affected area twice daily.

Gargle mouth frequently with diluted mouthrinses.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

According to your clinical symptoms i suspect that you have developed severe infection of the gums.
I would suggest you to go for complete mouth scaling and polishing, curettage.
Continue with the given medication.
You can apply Dologel oral ointement topically over the affected area 3-4 times daily.
At home take lukewarm saline and antiseptic mouthwash rinses.
Avoid alochol consumption, smoking.
Avoid eating of hot and spicy foodstuffs.

Hope this helps out,

Regards...

hello
apply the gel twice daily but only in prescribed amount .... you should also go for scaling and curettage for your anterior teeth.
after that take doxycyclin 100 mg first day 12 hourly and 24 hourly from the second day for one week along with metronidazole 400mg every 8 hourly
and ibuprofen 400mg 12 hourly..........
burning of tongue may be a side effect of antibiotic or most probably over dose of mouth wash you were using.. so be careful about that
thank you

hi...
thanks for the query...
well... lower front teeth are most common target to have plaque and calculus deposits... and hence gum diseases... drugs alone wont cure...
burning sensation is due to allergy to drugs... stop the medication... it will subside eventually... avoid hot and spicy foods...
after symptoms subside, go for proper scaling, root planing and curettage... massage your gums using hexi gel... and do warm saline rinses also...
hope it will help you...
take care...
