Painful Breasts, Brown Nipples, Cramping, Light Flow During Periods. History Of Tubal Ligation. Any Idea?

Hi may name is Susan in 1991 I had a tubal ligation and the fimbriated ends cut off. Now i feel weird I am on my period and my breasts are hurting still and my nipples are very brown and I did nothing but eat and sleep 2 weeks ago. I am cramping very bad and light flow. I have no answers could I be pregnant. Took 2 pregnancy tests both negative, I know it would be impossible for me to be pregnant given my history.

Hi,

Based on the information, it seems like you are having cramping light flow and has an history of the tubal ligation. And wanted to know that whats going on as your nipples are tender.

The answer is YES you are "NOT PREGNANT", the up and down of various hormones during cycle does sometimes cause such changes, and it seems like you are about to enter menopause stage.

Below mention is the list of peri menopausal symptoms and you are having some of them indicating you are near to a time of entering in menopause.

Hot flashes
Breast tenderness
Worsening of premenstrual syndrome
Decreased libido (sex drive)
Fatigue
Irregular periods
Vaginal dryness; discomfort during sex
Urine leakage when coughing or sneezing
Urinary urgency (a pressing need to urinate more frequently)
Mood swings
Difficulty sleeping.
