Pain In Nipples Due To Torn Nipples During Sex, Light Green Discharge From Areola. Prescribed Antibiotic And Ointment. Continue Medication?

I recently had sex with my husband and after starting feeling pain in my nipple area, because my nipple was torn. I also have some discharge from the areola but not the nipple itself, the discharge is light green. Is there a problem or should I continue taking the antibiotic prescribed at the hospital along with the ointment cream.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.
Take the antibiotics and the ointment for the scheduled period, and then wait for the pain and discharge to subside.
Greenish discharge generally indicates the beginning of an infection, however if it persists after antibiotics, it warrants a visit to a gynecologist to rule out other benign lumps / conditions.
Take care.
