The upper left side of my chest has been aching the past few days and as of today the right side of the rib area is starting to ache as well. Im also experiencing shortness of breath and my left arm has some sort of tingling feeling. I cant sleep on my left side because thats when the pain is the strongest; it also hurts when I breathe in.

Hello
Thanks for writing back

You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Pain may be due to musculoskeletal or respiratory causes.
Chest X-ray (PA view) should be taken. It can exclude many respiratory causes.
Tingling sensation in left arm may be due to spondylotic changes in cervical spine, so X-ray of cervical spine AP/Lateral view should be taken.
Firstly short course of analgesics should be given.
Other investigations like RBS,LFT,Lipid profile,ECG in all leads should be done.
Treatment depends upon investigation and clinical findings.
Get well soon.

Take Care
