Pain In Left Arm After A Walk, Difficulty In Breathing. Normal ECG, Suggested ETT. Is Walking Recommended?
My age is 58 years and yesterday started pain in my left arm after a walk/jogging of 6 KM. My ECG was Ok conducted with in 15 minutes after the pain. This sort of pain occurred third time during 02 years span.Doctor has suggested ETT. Moreover felt difficult to breathe during the pain. Kindly advise i go to walk today or take rest.
Hi, You must stop your 6 km jog/ walk until you get a clearance from your cardiologist. A ETT and/ or echocardiography would be most beneficial to you at the moment. ECG need not necessarily be abnormal on all occasions.
