Pain At Base Of Head, Shoulder, Fingers. Taking Tylenol. Burning Sensation Between Shoulder Blades. What To Do?

Hi- I have been dealing with what I think may be a pinched nerve in my neck and left shoulder for over a week now- the pain was severe the first night- running from the base of my head, through my left shoulder and down to my fingers. I could barely move. Then it seemed to get better for one day but has gotten worse since. I have been taking Tylenol but barely helps. Now I have a wierd burning sensation between my shoulder blades- feels like my skin is on fire! what do I do?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have described are likely to be due to nerve root compression at the level of cervical spine . An MRI scan will help in the proper diagnosis. Avoid using a pillow till then.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
