I am 48 years old woman, with a regular healthy period so far. Recently like passed 15 months, I experience pain and swelling in out side of my breasts about 10 days before my period starts, and once the bleeding happen the pain and swelling were gone. This month my period has not started yet ( I passed about 5 days) but amaizingly I never had that pain and swelling in my breasts. So what is happening tome?

Hi,
As you are into peri-menopause, your cycles could waver. The pain in the breasts prior to the onset of the cycle is due to the effect of the progesterone, which subsides once the cycle initiates. You may wait for a few more days or see a gynecologist for a complete evaluation; also a regular checkup is needed at least once-a-year at this age. Pregnancy also should be kept in mind if you are sexually active and do not use any contraception. Hope your query is clarified.
