Pain And Burning In Back Neck. Had Massage/chiropractic. Tongue Feels Weird And Tingles. Why Does It Happen?
Hello my daughter has been experiencing severe pain and burning sensation in right/back side of neck when turning her head at times for several years now. She recently has had massage/chiropractic work done. Was told she has a huge stress knot there. When this happens her tongue feels weird and tingles. Sound like nerve issue to you? She s almost 20 yrs old. Has been going on since she was very young.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be the cervical rib, accomodated till the age of starting pain, and as the age is advancing it might be finding difficulty in accomodation. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. She may need to have the M.R.I. of the neck for the confirmation. She may need a surgery for removal of the cervical rib. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms for temporary relief neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and pain killers when ever necessory. Wishing for a quick and comple te recovery. Thank you.
