PCOS,diabetic,overweight,healthy Diet To Conceive.

I am a PCOS patient since 2003 & on medication since then (Metformin-500mg-3times a day). I had stopped the same for approx 1yr when i conceived (my son is now 3).I have been continuing my medication now also. Now i am slightly diabetic (random check -147-157mg/l). I wish to conceive again. However my problems have increased terribly. I was always over-wt & presently I am over weight-100kgs with a ht of 5 2 ( I was 92kg when i conceived 1st & increased to 115kg finally) . I also find difficulty in maintaining a healthy diet . How can i change my lifestyle to conceive again? If i do have to contact a doctor -whom should i be visiting.Kindly help.

Hi,
when you visited your doctor last time? what was your ultrasound report a that time, is there any improvement in the PCOS status?
Over weight will not only affect the chances of fertility but also it will create problems during pregnancy and delivery.
So, now what you have to do is,
decrease your weight, take the help of professional trainers and dieticians for this if needed,
keep your blood sugar under control,
go to your gynecologist, undergo ultrasound examination check your PCOS status,
use tablets according to that,
if needed you can go for ovulation induction drugs or artificial reproduction methods.
take care
