PCOS, Bleed During Intercourse, Dryness And Slightly Itchy. Why The Bleeding ?
Hello, I have a question im kind of embarrassed to ask my family doctor...I am diagnosed with PCOS and have only had one sexual partner for the past 5 years ....everytime we have sexual intercourse I bleed. its not just spotting its like a period for a day or two after intercourse...the only other symptom I have is dryness...and a tiny bit of itchiness but I believe that is cause by the dryness ....I don't know if this bleeding is from PCOS or if I need to be checked for an STD or what!! :-( please help! this is so embarrassing!
Here, you need to undergo one pelvic examination with pap smear test and complete STD panel to rule out causes. Take suggestive treatment accordingly after consultation with doctor.
Use water based lubricant during intimation. Practice safe sex with condom. Also maintain genital hygiene before and after sex.
Hope, it helps. Good luck.
