On Zoloft. Intolerance To Heat. History Of Being Treated For Breast Cancer, On Arimidex, HRT And Antidepressents. Suggest

10 years ago I was treated for breast cancer (mastectomy, chemo and rdiation). For 4 years I took arimidex. Also, I had been on HRT for 7 years prior to my bc diagnosis. I have also been on antidepressants since I started the arimidex. Right now I'm on 200mg zoloft daily. My question is why do I still have such an intolerance to heat?

Hi

Heat intolerance is seen in postmenopausal women who are not taking hormonal replacement therapy .

This symptom can be very troublesome and sometimes can be very difficult to treat, if you experiencing it you need to talk your doctor for HRT or clonidine, which is also very effective in hot flushes.

Thanks.
