On Birth Control, Have Headache, Nauseous, Constipated, HPT Negative. Pregnancy Chances?

My daughter is on birth control and says she uses condons. She said for the last 3 days, she has a headache, is nauseaous, feeling tired and constipated. She took a home pregnacy test and it came back negative. Could she be pregnant ? She says her breast does not hurt and does not have a period because she is on the birth control shot. She is getting ready to go away to the Army...Could it be stress or does it sound more like pregnancy. Today she complained about the smell of a food she was about to eat...please advise

Hello ma'am.

Well, being on birth control and using condoms almost completely rules out the chances of pregnancy, but unexpected things do happen.

Well her symptoms do match that of pregnancy, but can simple be side effects of the birth control as it causes a hormonal imbalance which would also present in a similar manner.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
