hi, i m a 24 years old female, I ve been on aciclovir and ampiclox for two weeks, i stopped two days ago, and today i tested positive to hiv . can those medicines give a false positive result for an hiv screening?

These medications cannot lead to a false positive result in HIV screening. However, a diagnosis of HIV infection is made only after confirmatory test like Western Blot has been done.
