On Albenza. Feel Better But Have Sensations, Itching. Should I Take Heavier Dosage?
Hi. I just started taking albenza. This is my third day on the med. I am a 26 year old female and was prescribed 400mg now and another 400 mg 1-2 weeks later. I am concerned that I have been on albenza for a few days and even though I have felt some improvement, I still feel sensations/itching. Should the albenza have already killed most of the adult worms in my system? I am frustrated and not sure now if I should be taking a heavier or more frequent dosage. I appreciate your help.

you can take dose after 1 -2 weeks with 400 mg dose.
as per standard text books you have take dose and repeat after 1-2 weeks
no need for frequant or heavier doses. 400 mg will do the job
