What Causes Severe Constipation Upon Intake Of Albenza?
My daughter is 11 years old and was diagnosed with pinworms. The doctor prescribed Albenza 200mg. She is approximately 70 lbs. She took the initial dose on July 2 (11 days ago) and will take a second dose on the 16th. She told us today she hasn t had a bowel movement in 6 days. Is this a side effect of Albenza? Can we give her an over the counter laxative to help? Thanks.

it is pinworm so taking albendazole is proper. can take piperazine citrate according to age and weight calculated.maintain hygiene and sanitation.
