Numbness In Lower Lip, Tingling In All Fingers. Hyperparathyroidism In Mother's History. Reason?

Thanks so much.....within the past few weeks I've begun experiencing a tingling/numbness of my lower lip on the right side, sometimes the upper right side as well....and tingling of all fingers on my right hand. Often fingers and lips act up at same time...often just the lip(s). Hyperparathyroidism was part of my mom's medical history. Am I thinking along the right lines here:??

Hello
yes, you are right. You should get your parathyroid levels checked. The above symptoms can be due to anxiety or cervical spondylosis . If you have other symptoms like worrying too much, problem with sleep and palpitation, the former can be true and if neck movements are restricted and painful, the later can be present
